Old Barn

This old barn is based on one in ruins Barb and I found on one of our searches for good things to model in the North American country side. Its first incarnation was in the hand built version originally sold under the Barbs Bunker brand and was our most popular item.

We are very excited to offer it as a kit that is easy to assemble yet captures the same charm as the original board by board version.

These types of barns were and can still be found all over North America. It wasnt built by a professional carpenter but rather by a farmer with the rough sawn materials he had at hand.

The barn kit consists of wonderfully tabbed and slotted laser cut wood panels and highly detailed resin base that includes the usual detritus found in and around a barn. We have even included some horse apples in one of the stalls. The doors can be made to open and close as outlined in the assembly instructions.

This design is suitable for any conflicts set in North America from the French and Indian War all the way up to a hideout for todays bandits if you desire. While designed after a North American prototype, barns like this were also common in parts of Europe where wood was a plentiful building material.

This kit is easily assembled from laser cut wood components and a richly sculpted nearly bubble free resin base.

Removable roof allows access to completed detailed interior.
