American Uncivil War
Officially Launching November 19th, with some products for sale already, Architects of War brings the American Civil War to life from History and Hollywood with a complete range of miniatures, terrain, and rules properly named the American Uncivil War!
Inspired by the films of John Ford and classics like Gone with the Wind, The Horse Soldiers, The Great Locomotive Chase and Shenandoah, our American Uncivil War Range is meant to capture the spirit of these films with miniature games staged on the fringes of the American Civil War. Spies, raiders, foraging parties, missions behind enemy lines, bushwhackers, deserters, and a host of other scenarios can be played out with these products. It’s a role-playing skirmish game with figures overflowing with character that puts a whole new spin on gaming this period.

The RULES
|
|
|
With a target release date in January, we are currently developing a set of skirmish rules chock full of flavor from History and Hollywood.
The rules utilize a card activation system for initiative, command and control. Unit sizes range from single character models to platoons of 10 men or more that can be organized for some scenarios into even larger companies. Characters have special attributes like Influential, Dead Eye Shot, Heroic, and Despicable that effect game play.
The Rule Set will be available on our Website as a PDF download for a nominal fee. We will also give it to you free with the purchase of $100 or more of our American Uncivil War Range and terrain. We hope (with fingers crossed) to have the Rules up for Download by the 30th of January. If demand is high enough, we might publish it as a softbound book at a future date.
A special thank you has to go out right away to our figure sculptors, Darren Greenaway and Dave Summers, who have done a great job for us on this line.
The concept, rules, buildings and terrain were designed by Barb and Ernie Baker.
Barb and I are very excited to bring this range out and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed making it.
We have lots of grand plans for expansion if it’s well received, so please give it a go!
