17th Century Warfare
Like many other periods in history, the 17th Century was a time of great upheaval and strife throughout Europe. From the Thirty Years War to the English Civil War, battles raged throughout many of the lands. This time period saw proliferation of musket, cannon, and other firearms across the battlefield which greatly changed the nature of warfare for all time.
We are excited to showcase this time period for the month of May. One of the best ways to get into this fascinating time period is to pick up Pike and Shotte from Warlord Games.
This excellent rulebook, written by Steve Morgan, covers many periods for gaming and will allow you to recreate a variety of different battles. Following the footsteps of their hugely successful Black Powder rules, Pike and Shotte is sure to be another great game.
